Oily skin

Oily skin is characterized by excess sebum, which is often associated with consequences such as dilated or clogged pores, imperfections, greasiness. For this type of skin it is essential to clean the face as best as possible, but without exaggerating: we often tend to try to dry out the oily epidermis too much, creating the famous rebound effect, through which the overly attacked skin responds with further sebum production. For the correct treatment of this type of skin, then, it will be better to adopt a cleansing routine that is not too aggressive, alternating with targeted treatments to be used two or three times a week. The most suitable tool for facial cleansing is a low-foaming soap with a PH ranging from 4.5 to 5.5, preferably made up of only natural ingredients. It is also important not to repeat cleansing too often, so as not to attack the skin's natural defenses. Finally, to complete your daily facial care, it is best not to forget the right hydration: a specific cream for oily skin, also free of aggressive ingredients and rich in sebum-regulating substances, will be an excellent tool to keep shine at bay . Furthermore, once or twice a week, you can use some natural remedies that are perfect for combating sebum and the typical blemishes of this type of skin: a clay-based mask, to which you can add a spoonful of blended cucumber or one of lemon juice, it can be left on for a quarter of an hour and then rinsed. Conclude the treatment with a few drops of astringent toner or tea tree oil, to be poured onto a cotton pad and passed on the areas of the face that tend to become greasy first.

Dry skin

If you often feel the sensation of tightness in your skin, or you notice areas of your face that flake easily, you have dry skin that needs nourishment and hydration. Start tackling the problem by changing your habits: you can try to gradually increase the amount of water you drink daily. Pamper her even during cleansing, preferring delicate detergents rich in emollient substances: for example, using a soap enriched with shea butter will be excellent. Finally, don't forget to use a moisturizing cream with a full-bodied consistency, which you can make richer yourself by adding a few drops of jojoba or argan oil. Finally, don't forget to add the use of masks specific to the needs of your skin to your beauty routine. You can make one by mixing a generous spoonful of organic honey in a bowl, to which you can add a few drops of lavender oil, known for its calming and relaxing properties. Apply it on your face and leave it to act for at least a quarter of an hour, rinsing everything off with the help of a clean sponge and a little warm water.

Dull skin

The brightness of the skin depends on its ability to renew and oxygenate. You can cure this blemish starting from your diet, adding more fruit and vegetables rich in antioxidant properties and vitamins to your diet . Furthermore, an excellent ally for the brightness of your face is the scrub : it is a very useful cosmetic treatment for removing the superficial layer of the epidermis, eliminating dead cells and reawakening the natural splendor of the skin. You can find many on the market, but you can also easily make one with the ingredients you find at home. If you have delicate skin, for example, just add a teaspoon of brown sugar to one of honey: apply the mixture to your face with a delicate massage, insisting lightly on the forehead, nose and chin. Rinse everything with warm water, finish with a little cold water to tighten the pores and admire the result. If you suffer from oily skin, however, you can replace the sugar with a teaspoon of bicarbonate.

Blackheads

They are an annoying blemish that could undermine the beauty of your face. These are accumulations of oxidized sebum that are deposited inside the pores, taking on the typical dark color. They are usually found in the oiliest areas of the face, such as the nose, chin and forehead. Eliminating them is not always easy, but you can try with some very effective remedies. On the market, for example, there are very useful plasters for mechanically removing them: they are applied to moistened skin, they adhere to the blackhead and eradicate it when it is torn. If you prefer to do it yourself, however, you can try using a homemade purifying scrub . Mix a spoonful of bicarbonate of soda with a teaspoon of lemon juice, apply it to the area to be treated and leave it to act for a few minutes. Rub gently for a few seconds before rinsing and close the pores with cold water or a light toner based on apple cider vinegar and mint extract. For daily skin cleansing, if it has a tendency to create blackheads, you can use coconut oil.

Skin that tends to become red

All you need is a gust of wind or a ray of sunshine to feel its effects on your face: your skin reddens very easily. This is certainly a very widespread problem among those with a very light complexion, but not only. To treat this type of skin it is best to use delicacy and natural ingredients, to which you can add a few touches of green concealer to mask the redder areas. Furthermore, if you want to soothe inflammation and reduce redness on your face, you can try creating a mask based on egg white, milk and cucumber. Create a paste to apply to the face with the help of gauze, leave on for a quarter of an hour and rinse with fresh water. Remove any residue with rose water and a few drops of calendula oil, known for its soothing properties. Finally, never forget to protect your skin with a special moisturizing face cream with high sun protection.
